Chloé Romero

Chloé Romero is a french based odissi dancer. She started learning in 2002 from french teachers, then attended the Summer Schools of Manchester under the direction of Madhavi Mudgal and Sujata Mohapatra. She is regularly visits India regularly and studies with Sri Lingaraj Swain and Konarak Natya Mandap. She also studies the instrument, mardala, with Guru Banamali Maharana. Having a passion for Indian dance, Chloé is the creator/director of the first french festival dedicated to Indian classical dance "Rencontres de la dance indienne" which happens annualy in October in Montpellier, south of France.
