Moving steadily towards developing artistic and cultural awareness in the community, Kalpana Dance Theatre presents a rare and exciting gathering of Odissi dancers to make a special dedication, Anjali, to the late Guru Sri Deba Prasad Das.
The production will showcase a new opening number, the Surya Mangalacharan and the rarely performed Vajrakanthi Pallavi. Two abhinaya pieces and four other pieces before ending with the Mokshya, the traditional finale in which all the dancers will perform.
